Indigodragonfly Day!

And what a day it was! This past Saturday I had the honour of hosting a trunk show for indie dyers Kim and Ron, the dynamic duo of Indigodragonly. Kim and Ron showed up Friday afternoon with 6 bins containing 501 skeins of yarn to unpack and set-up for Saturday. When they were done, it looked like this:

Kim and Ron then went to spend the evening with friends and I went home to relax before the big day. We arrived early, Kim and I had a chance to sit and talk before the store opened, I don’t think either one of us sat down again until the store was closed!

Our first customer of the day was Carlene, who quickly grabbed some of the Tardis colourway.

Not long after, local designer Natalie Servant showed up wearing her latest design, Clover Shawl, that she had knit with Indigodragonfly’s Merino Silk Lace.

I would like to thank Kim for first suggesting the idea of a trunk show, and a big thank you to everyone who came out. Kim and I both look forward to doing this again!
